The Départemental de Corrèze called on Equans Digital's SIAI (Service Informatique Automatismes Industriels) to undertake major work to secure and optimize the structure.
- What are the objectives ?
- Secure the continuous power supply to ensure optimum operation of safety equipment in the event of a power cut.
- Modernize the lighting.
- Make the emergency call network reliable.
At 380 meters long, it is the only tunnel in Corrèze that falls under the so-called "Mont-Blanc" regulations due to its length. Completed in 1992, the Cornil tunnel therefore requires special equipment and is subject to regular safety diagnostics.

A complex, multi-technical renovation requiring :
- GTCInstallation of a centralized technical management system to control the main elements of the structure (energy, lighting, security, etc.) via a PLC architecture, cameras, a transmission network and centralized supervision hosted in the IT infrastructure of the Conseil Départemental headquarters in Tulle.
- SIAI SMPThis centralized system will also enable subsequent control of the various roadworks spread across the region (tunnels, information panels, video, etc.), using IGNITION supervision software and our SMP-SIAI (Smart Multifaceted Platform) standard.
An original, more economical and efficient approach, enabling them to deploy all their applications more rapidly.
