Arkéa Arena : high-density network & Wi-Fi infrastructure for a rethought spectator experience

Digital transformation and modernization of digital infrastructures for an entertainment venue in Bordeaux

Located in Bordeaux and operated by Lagardère Live Entertainment, the Arkéa Arena has undertaken the modernization of its digital infrastructures to offer its spectators a fluid, secure and high-performance Wi-Fi connection.

To meet these needs, Equans Digital mobilized its expertise in secure IT (Information Technology) / OT (Operational Technology) infrastructures, managed networks and high-density Wi-Fi, with the support of benchmark technology partners : Aruba, Stormshield, Ruckus, Ucopia and Alcatel-Lucent.

Objective : to deploy a robust, scalable multi-service network infrastructure capable of supporting a high density of simultaneous connections, in order to combine technology, performance and spectator experience in a demanding event environment.

Ensuring a high-performance, reliable network and optimal spectator connectivity

Ensuring a high-performance, reliable network : the venue's vital systems (ticketing, access control, BMS, sound systems) required a secure network infrastructure that was available around the clock.
Guarantee a high-density Wi Fi connection for spectators : offer personalized connected services to a large number of simultaneous users, without loss of performance.
Simplified management and maintenance with managed services : anticipate changes in usage, secure operations and guarantee infrastructure availability over time.

Equans Digital solutions : multi-service network infrastructure, high-density Wi-Fi and managed services

A robust, scalable multi-service network for optimum performance : thanks to the deployment of a Multi-Service Network (MSN) based on Aruba and Stormshield technologies, Equans Digital has designed a centralized, interconnected infrastructure bringing together BMS, access control, video surveillance, ticketing, telephony, digital signage, catering and stage lighting. This unified architecture ensures seamless communication between systems, and guarantees optimum performance and reliability at every event.
High-density Wi-Fi for a connected, immersive spectator experience : Equipped with Ruckus and Ucopia solutions, the Arkéa Arena now benefits from a high-density Wi-Fi network capable of handling several thousand simultaneous connections. Spectators benefit from a fast, stable connection, instant access to digital content and personalized interactive services, for an enriched, engaging user experience.
Managed services for simplified, secure operation : In addition to installation, Equans Digital provides proactive maintenance, ongoing supervision and management of network upgrades, as well as dedicated event management. This approach guarantees Lagardère Live Entertainment an available and secure infrastructure, while enabling it to concentrate on the management and animation of its events with complete peace of mind.
