Interoperability, Data Management & Artificial Intelligence

We support our clients in the implementation of data platforms and interoperability services through APIs (Application Programming Interface).

This enables them to more easily access data from one or multiple sites, facilitates tracking, benchmarking, and reporting needs (to their clients, suppliers, or regulatory authorities), ultimately contributing to greater performance of their facilities.

Artificial Intelligence

The amount of available data in companies continues to grow: IT applications, data hubs, and various data containers... Many platforms and tools lead to the daily collection of a significant amount of data, the use of which is often limited and underutilized by businesses.

While this data is accessible, it is essential to question how it can be leveraged through algorithmic models. Dashboard data, operational data, and imaging data represent a significant potential for efficiency and effectiveness gains for our clients.

Equans Digital, your partner for your Artificial Intelligence projects

Regardless of the level of maturity, Equans Digital supports its clients in selecting projects and in the roadmap for their implementation.

Based on collected and available data, our experts build customized and differentiating Artificial Intelligence solutions (primarily utilizing Machine Learning and Computer Vision), in close collaboration with business experts to create high-value use cases.

Our extended value chain and expertise provide the capability to manage comprehensive project execution, including Artificial Intelligence.

Interoperability through API

Equans Digital has strong expertise in interoperability (of systems, software, and protocols) with the goal of making different systems, software, or technologies work together in a seamless and efficient manner.

Over time, our teams have developed the belief that one of the keys to the success of a project lies in our ability to enable communication between systems, exchange data, and utilize functionalities, ultimately promoting information sharing and improving collaboration between different applications or platforms, regardless of their technologies and/or history.

In the field of interoperability, Equans Digital has notably developed the use of API Management solutions, which refer to a set of practices, software solutions, and tools that enable the control and facilitation of the use of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) within a given environment. APIs are access points that allow different software or services to communicate with each other by exposing specific functionalities and data.

API Management typically includes the management of the API lifecycle, API security, access control, analytics and monitoring, and sometimes monetization. According to Equans Digital, the link between API Management and interoperability lies in the central role of API Management in facilitating and enhancing interoperability between different systems, applications, and services.

How does API Management promote interoperability?

Standardization of communications: API Management defines standards and protocols for communication between different parties. By establishing clear rules for using APIs, it allows systems to understand how to interact with each other, thus facilitating interoperability.
API version management: When an API is updated or modified, API Management enables the organized management of different API versions. This ensures a smooth transition between versions for existing applications and helps maintain interoperability between systems using different API versions.
Data format conversion: API Management may include features to automatically convert data formats between systems so that they can exchange information consistently, even if they use different data structures.
Access control and security: By managing permissions and access to APIs, API Management ensures that only authorized systems or applications can access the services provided by the API, contributing to the security and integrity of the system while facilitating controlled interoperability between parties.
API documentation and discovery: Good API Management provides clear and comprehensive documentation of available APIs, enabling developers from other systems to easily understand how to use them. Easy access to available APIs facilitates discovery and adoption, thus encouraging interoperability between different applications.
Performance monitoring and management: API Management enables real-time monitoring of API performance. This allows quick detection of potential interoperability or performance issues between systems and enables rapid resolution.

By combining these features, Equans Digital provides a comprehensive framework to facilitate and maintain interoperability between the various stakeholders in its clients' IT ecosystem, thus fostering collaboration and the exchange of data and services.
