How is Equans Digital helping GNVERT monitor, manage, and leverage data from its national network?
Faced with the rapid growth of alternative mobility solutions and the steady increase in the number of stations, customers, and transactions, GNVERT had to tackle a major challenge: centralising all of its operational data within a single environment capable of ensuring operational performance, real-time monitoring, and service excellence.
To address these challenges, Equans Digital designed and developed a business-specific SaaS (Software as a Service) platform that now enables GNVERT to manage its entire operations from a centralised, intelligent, and connected portal. Since 2021, this solution has supported teams in the day-to-day management of more than 100 stations spread across France and tens of thousands of users.
GNVERT: a major player in sustainable mobility in France
A subsidiary of ENGIE Solutions, GNVERT specialises in the development and operation of low-carbon mobility solutions for commercial fleets. The company deploys and operates a national network of stations distributing Natural Gas for Vehicles (NGV), BioNGV, and other alternative energy sources to support the energy transition in transportation.
Against a backdrop of sustained market growth, GNVERT needed tools capable of ensuring the operational management of its network, monitoring energy consumption, supervising equipment, and continuously improving the customer experience.
Prior to the project, the data needed to operate the network came from multiple sources: stations, time clocks, transactional systems, partner platforms, and customer management tools. This fragmentation limited overall visibility into operations and complicated decision-making.

Because information was spread across multiple systems, the teams lacked a consolidated, real-time view of network activity. Centralising the data was essential to improving the teams’ operational efficiency and responsiveness.
Business operations depend on the continuous availability of infrastructure. It was therefore essential to continuously monitor stations, equipment, transactions, and access systems in order to immediately identify incidents that could impact customers.
The increase in the number of stations, badges, and customer accounts called for a modern platform that would offer users greater autonomy, simplified access to information, and new reporting and notification tools.
A SaaS platform at the heart of GNVERT's operations
To address these challenges, the teams at Equans Digital designed a centralized business platform capable of orchestrating all of GNVERT’s operational and energy flows.
The SaaS platform centralizes all information related to stations, badges, customer accounts, transactions, and operational data within a single interface.
This approach provides GNVERT teams with a comprehensive view of their operations and significantly reduces the need to use multiple, siloed tools. As a result, users benefit from increased productivity and simplified access to the data essential to their work.
Equans Digital has also developed an advanced monitoring and alerting system that integrates field reports, transaction monitoring, automated ticketing management, and multi-channel notifications.
Thanks to this continuous monitoring capability, teams can detect anomalies more quickly, speed up response times, and sustainably improve the availability of stations across the network.
The platform integrates and consolidates data from numerous sources, including station management systems, energy transactions, and data provided by Enedis and GRDF.
This data is then analysed using dashboards, performance metrics, and reports, enabling GNVERT to manage its energy consumption with precision and reliability.
This data-driven approach facilitates decision-making and helps optimise the network’s operational performance.
