Automate the cutting and opening of your packages and boxes
The carton cutting solution is designed for the automated opening of packages and shipping cartons intended to feed production or order-fulfillment lines. It combines a 4-axis robot, package tracking systems, and a cutting device that enables the controlled opening of packages without damaging the contents. The products are then directed to the output streams via an integrated conveyor system. The cell is capable of reaching a throughput of up to 315 packages per hour, or approximately 8 seconds per carton, while ensuring precise positioning and high repeatability. The entire system is protected by a certified safety enclosure and can be adapted to different package sizes depending on process requirements.
