Thanks to BIM and these new technologies, teams collaborate more effectively, reducing errors, costs and delays. This holistic approach to building data improves the sustainability, performance and short- and long-term management of buildings and structures.

In particular, we use 3 technological approaches that are revolutionizing our daily lives:
 

3D scanning

It's used in construction and building to create accurate digital models of structures and/or to gain a better understanding of existing ones.
We use laser Lidars to measure distances and create detailed 3D point clouds, but also for photogrammetry which uses images with the aim of reconstructing 3D models in the form of point clouds or meshes.


This enables us to obtain 3D models made up of billions of points which allow us to make measurements of reality directly from the virtual cloud. We use it in particular for the rehabilitation of historic Parisian buildings, which gives a very precise vision of the building's existing condition (including deformed slabs, beams, etc.).

Augmented reality

Today, BIM models can be projected directly on site. Thanks to this technology, with the help of a tablet, smartphone or mixed reality glasses, we can visualize BIM models directly in their real environment. This also enables us to visualize/control progress, the conformity of existing vs. planned BIM models, or even perform augmented maintenance with all the information contained in the BIM models.

Artificial intelligence

We're already using it on a daily basis with decision support tools that enable us to consult and respond very quickly to questions or queries concerning the standards, benchmarks or even markets we're working on. AI also promises interesting prospects in generative design, enabling us to offer our customers projects that are both financially and carbon-optimized.
