As part of a comprehensive campus redevelopment, Plan Group has been selected to design and implement cutting-edge technology that will form the basis of the 15-year campus renovation. The aim is to build a hospital inspired by the future, where we seek to transform the delivery of care by enabling our staff to do their best work, and empowering patients and families to be partners in their care.
Selected as a Master Systems Integrator (MSI), Plan Group collaborated with the client and its agents to design and build a state-of-the-art facility, equipped with the latest innovations in building intelligence and IoT automation. Through a consultative process, in collaboration with key stakeholders, Plan Group's technology team designed customized workflows that will improve the overall comfort efficiency of the space. This process involves the selection and deployment of technology that works cohesively with occupants to achieve positive results.
At the heart of Plan Group's technology, which supports patients and staff, is a mobile platform that provides users with information on orientation, safety, alerts and important clinical and building information.
This platform is based on a complex building intelligence system that integrates with a variety of clinical and building systems to provide a unified user interface. This powerful tool enables building operators to proactively manage their spaces using advanced analytics that predict failures and offer suggestions to best calibrate spaces and ensure energy efficiency and overall comfort. The platform is powered by a variety of IoT sensors strategically placed in the environment to actively monitor and provide valuable information to the building intelligence platform.
