The collaboration rooms have been equipped with an audiovisual solution that facilitates workshops, meetings and small-group discussions. The system consists of a large 70-inch interactive flat screen that can be controlled by a resident PC. A touch screen allows users to annotate and interact with content, and export files to an e-mail address or USB stick. Dedicated digital signage screens are installed throughout the hospital. These 55-inch LCD flat screens, mounted in portrait mode, are used for reading dynamic, regularly updated content, as well as for displaying public information.
Integrated audiovisual equipment in the operating rooms enables the connection of pendants, cameras, arm monitors and third-party medical devices. The operating room AV system meets the demands of surgical operations, including the ability to display local sources on multiple screens, the ability to display live camera feeds from multiple angles, and the ability to capture and record surgical operations in theater. Customized user interfaces allow each surgeon to personalize their audiovisual system layout and signal transmission to optimize workflow and the operating room experience. Operating rooms are fully integrated with fiber optic systems and are supported by a 4K infrastructure for first-rate video resolution to ensure the highest imaging accuracy provided by medical equipment.
Equans worked closely with Watpac and CHW Consulting on thedesign and construction of the Casey Hospital expansion project, in order to establish a world-class health and scientific infrastructure.
