Equans realized a large-scale audiovisual project in the heart of Melbourne's business district for the new $650 million headquarters of the law enforcement and support teams during the COVID19 global pandemic.
This new Class A commercial building, covering some 65,500 m2 over 40 floors, required a complex building-wide audiovisual system, which had to be installed entirely on a private network.
Equans took matters into its own hands and successfully completedthe basic design, network topology, supply, installation and ongoing maintenance of this project.
Due to the length of construction and the scale of the project, an entire floor was reappropriated for use as on-site storage to house, organize and pre-commission equipment.
In addition, a networked audio system was implemented throughout the building to ensure that all communications inside and outside the builder are of high quality. This makes it easy to manage data transfer. The added benefit is that all data on the network are secure and protected, which is the key element of this audiovisual installation.
Equans is proud to be involved with and support the epicenter of law enforcement and its departments. The audiovisual system implemented will enable in-house teams to work efficiently, minimizing downtime and creating a seamless user experience for the 5300 employees. Our support team is also available to continuously monitor and update all necessary systems.
