Integrate operational data and systems through a single digital platform to improve operations and maintenance services
In 2019, a public-private partnership contract has been signed between Canadian companies for the design, construction, financing, maintenance and operation of the Gatineau Archives Preservation Centre 2, in Gatineau, Canada. The existing center was built in 1996 with a total surface area of almost 280,000 m², including 48 collection vaults of around 3,800 m² each. In 2020, Equans took over O&M management of the existing center while a new site was built. The new conservation center will be located behind the existing center and linked by an enclosed pedestrian corridor with a total surface area of almost 129,000 sq. ft. The customer will increase its capacity to better accommodate its growing collection, for which Equans will help optimize the infrastructure for long-term conservation. Operations and management services for existing and new buildings will also be provided for the next 30 years.
Equans provides its services with fully integrated digital solutions, including an intelligent O&M platform collecting and managing data from multiple systems (CMMS, BMS) to preserve the integrity of government archives through real-time monitoring of the building's thermal (temperature + humidity) and technical conditions.
The digital solutions implemented as part of this project enable :
- Asset management optimization
- Lifecycle management and optimization
- Corrective and preventive maintenance
- Real-time asset monitoring
- Dashboards, analytics, and performance indicators through the integration of various hardware and software systems into a single platform
- Tracking of KPI deductions (payment mechanism)
- Space and comfort management
- Energy information management
