Optimizing the preparation of combat rations
Our customer, from the defense sector, called on Equans Digital's robotics division to modernize and make reliable its two combat rations preparation lines and greatly increase its production capacity.
The combination of expertise (Equans Digital robotics division) and proximity (Maine Anjou agency) enabled us to offer our customer a differentiating solution.
The chosen solution enables :
✔️ replace obsolete installations in place with
more performing
✔️ reorganizeand reduce logistics flows
✔️ optimize floor space and automate a storage area.
It also gives rise to the reinforcement of automatic quality controls reducing the repair of operators, all in a safe environment.
With no fewer than 13 robots including 3 large carriers moving on rails, 8 vertical stackers, new PLCs as well as the retrofit of existing equipment, our customer's site is now an emblematic showcase part of a dynamic 4.0.
